Nedaye Zan Project Worker
7 hours per week, Fixed-term to April 2019
Scale Point 26, 25,491 per annum pro rata
(Actual 424.85 per month)
Plus 4% employer pension

Mind in Harrow is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with relevant knowledge, skills and experience to undertake this exciting Nedaye Zan Project Worker role. 

The post holder will be working alongside the Nedaye Zan Project Coordinator to actively support and empower Afghan women campaigners to influence service managers and decision makers in Harrow.  The project aims to address cultural mental health stigma and increase access to local services, helping to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being for Afghan women.

It is essential for the role that the post holder is fluent in English and one of the Afghan community languages such as Dari, Farsi, Persian or Pashto.

The successful applicant will be required to have an enhanced Disclosure & Barring service application (DBS) check.
