Mind the Harrow Heatwave!

As Harrow’s heatwave continues, hot-pants and sun-hats are flying out of the Mind in Harrow Charity Shop like never before! “We still have some beautiful summer wear but need more to keep pace with Harrow’s super sun!”  Shop Manager, Joanna tells the Harrow Times.

“We are appealing to your readers to grab that pre-loved summer top that isn’t quite your colour and those new shorts which have not seen the light of day – and bring them into our Mind in Harrow Charity Shop. We will turn your unwanted gifts and clothes into cash to help the one in four local adults and one in ten young people experiencing poor mental health, be it anxiety, depression or suicidal feelings.

Shop profits will help Mind in Harrow support 7000 local people towards better mental health; be it through our Mental Health Information Helpline, Talking Therapies or our exciting range of Stepping Stones Courses such as photography, art and yoga.  So pop your summer goodies into the Mind Charity shop, in College Road, diagonally opposite Harrow on the Hill tube during normal shop hours – and use the Harrow Heatwave for better mental health!
