The Stepping Stones Project enables service users to move into mainstream courses and leisure activities, giving them greater control over their lives and renewed confidence and independence. It offers a range of opportunities on a termly basis. Please note that service users must be residents of the Borough of Harrow to access these courses.

Enrolment for the next set of courses is due to be announced for the Autumn Term. Course places are limited and are allotted on a first-come first-served basis, so come early to ensure a place on the course of your choice! For more information contact Tracey on 020 8426 0929. This term we will have the following courses on offer:

  • Intermediate Photography – gain confidence to create excellent imagery! (Please note it would be desirable to have your own digital camera)
  • Comic Creators: Cartooning & Illustration – learn to express yourself through comic art
  • Yoga – the golden key that unlocks the door to peace, tranquillity and joy; union of the mind, body & spirit
  • Google it! – Make the most of Google and other search engines using an iPad (which we supply during the classes)
  • Stepping Stones to Volunteering Course - gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to progress onto a volunteering role

The Stepping Stones to Volunteering course will have a separate enrolment session in March 2018 (date and time TBC) please get in contact if you'd like to be notified about future courses.

We run two courses that are specifically for people who receive a Personal Budget. One these is Writing For Recovery – you can read previous group members' writing and learn more about the course, as well as how to apply for a Personal Budget, on its webpage.
