700 employees voted Mind in Harrow to be our Charity of the Year. With their support, we have trained colleagues in mental health awareness… participated in fundraising… and employees enjoy mediation and pilates to support our Wellbeing Plan.
Mind in Harrow’s appointment as our Charity Partner quickly snowballed to their introduction to many of our key stakeholders. With their support, many colleagues have been trained in mental health awareness. Their sessions were truly outstanding and many of us have reframed our assumptions around mental health.
We have also participated in fundraising, including Mind in Harrow’s Jail & Bail event, where two of our employees were ‘arrested’ and held in Pinner Police Station until they raised their £1,000 bail money! Not only was this entertaining, but raised mental health awareness all the way to board level. So far we have raised £8,000 and due to our outstanding relationship with Mind in Harrow employees enjoy mediation and pilates to support our Welbeing Plan.
Mind in Harrow are also delivering mental health workshops across many Bakkavor sites. Such is their impact, they have been voted a second time as our Charity of the Year. We look forward to working with you.
