Recruiting Peer Volunteers aged 18-30 for our HeadsUp project!

Mind in Harrow is currently recruiting volunteers for its youth wellbeing project, HeadsUp. HeadsUp volunteers deliver peer-led mental health and resilience workshops to young people high schools, colleges and youth services all around Harrow. As a HeadsUp youth volunteer, you will help to support other young people to have a better understanding of mental health, teach some strategies that can help build their resilience and improve their emotional wellbeing and sign post to our HeadsUp partners and other mental health resources in Harrow.

As this is a peer volunteer role, we require that applicants are aged 18-30 and have had some personal experience of mental health difficulties. We prioritise Harrow residents.
We ask that you commit a minimum of 1 day per fortnight (Mon-Fri) for six months.

Application deadline: 8th March 2019

Training will be offered one day per week over six weeks subject to a successful interview.

Training days will be Thursdays starting 28th March.

If you are interested, please download the application pack and return your completed application form to us.
