A FREE and confidential NHS service which aims to improve access to psychological therapies using a step care model for people to people experiencing problems such as depression, low mood, anxiety and/or stress.
The Harrow Talking Therapies Service offers access to talking therapy and employment based services, which are provided in partnership by CNWL Foundation NHS Trust, Mind in Harrow and Twining. NHS Harrow funds the service. It is part of a wider national agenda to offer evidence-based therapies, which provide choice and early intervention to people affected by anxiety and depression. The service is aimed at individuals who are 18 years and over, with a GP in the borough of Harrow, who are experiencing common mental health difficulties – e.g. stress, anxiety, depression, low mood, worry, and not be getting support from other mental health services.
To access this service you can either self-refer or be referred by your GP. To make a referral, please phone 020 8515 5015 or email harrow.iapt@nhs.net. You can also refer yourself by filling in this short online questionnaire, which will be submitted to the service.
