Raising money for mental illness is very important to me. On Monday 14th May 2018 I lost my brother. Amongst other health issues, my brother suffered from depression and due to the medication had a slight touch of schizophrenia.
I was unaware of my brother’s depression. He hid it well from me. I feel guilty that I wasn’t able to help him and it eats me up every day. So, I decided to do a Skydive in Dubai and all money raised would go to Mind in Harrow who do so much for mental illness.
I did the skydive on Saturday 8th June 2019 and raised over £2000 through my JustGiving page – and have since set up my own charity, Life in London Trust, so I can continue to make a difference.
