Befriending Services
We rely on volunteers to help support our work to people experiencing
isolation and loneliness. You can volunteer at Mind in Harrow
for a couple of hours a week.
Befrienders offer support, encouragement and time to listen.
You can help someone to develop their interests, get out and
about, make new contacts, and above all to feel more comfortable
with another person.
We value the experience of mental health service users and welcome people from Harrow's diverse communities to become volunteers.

Counselling Service
Very sadly, our Counselling Service closed in March 2005 owing
to a lack for continuation funding and so we are not able
to take on any counselling placements. We suggest that
you contact Brent
Mind to enquire about opportunities with their counselling
service.
