Volunteering with Mind in Harrow

Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with us. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of what we do—helping us provide vital mental health services, organising local events, and ensuring that no one in Harrow has to face a mental health problem alone.

An update on our current recruitment

We are incredibly grateful for the high level of interest we’ve had from people wanting to donate their time and skills to support our community.

We have decided to pause new applications until further notice. This is so we can focus on providing the best possible training and support to our current team of dedicated volunteers. We want to make sure that every volunteer at Mind in Harrow has a meaningful and well-supported experience, and occasionally pausing recruitment helps us maintain those high standards.

How you can still get involved

Even though our formal volunteer applications are closed for now, there are still plenty of ways you can support our work in Harrow:

Fundraising: From bake sales to sponsored walks, your fundraising efforts help us keep our local services free for those who need them.

Campaigning: Join us in speaking out for better mental health services in Harrow. Your voice can help us influence local decision-makers.

Attend an Event: Come along to our workshops or forums! Building a supportive community is something everyone can take part in.

Spread the Word: Following us on social media and sharing our posts helps us reach more people who might need our support.

Stay in touch

We will update this page as soon as new opportunities become available, including roles within our HeadsUp team. We recommend checking back in a few months if you are still interested in joining us.

Thank you for your patience and for your ongoing support of mental health in our community.
