My Pace – Mind and Movement
My Pace – Mind and Movement is a free eight-week programme supporting young people aged 16–24 who live in Harrow to improve their mental and physical wellbeing through accessible dance and fitness sessions. The programme aims to help young people build confidence, reduce isolation, develop social connections and experience the wellbeing benefits of regular movement.
Taking part in physical activity can be a positive way to support mental wellbeing, manage everyday stress and create opportunities to connect with other people. My Pace offers a welcoming and supportive environment where young people can try something new, develop their skills and enjoy being active without the pressure of having previous experience.
Whether you enjoy dancing, want to try a new form of exercise or simply feel ready to become more active, these sessions provide an opportunity to explore movement at your own pace. All sessions are beginner-friendly, and no previous dance or fitness experience is required. Participants are encouraged to take part in a way that feels comfortable for them.
