Chalkhill Community Centre, 113 Chalkhill Road, Wembley Park, HA9 9FX

07/09/2026, 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM

The Hayaan Community Outreach Session in Brent provides a welcoming and culturally sensitive space for members of the Somali community to access mental health support, information and guidance.

The session is open to Somali community members aged 18 and over in North West London, including people who may be experiencing mental health difficulties, as well as carers and family members supporting someone affected by mental health.

The Hayaan Project provides culturally tailored mental health support through culturally specific casework and one-to-one support. The service aims to make it easier for people to access the help they need by addressing some of the barriers that can prevent people from seeking support, including language, cultural understanding and stigma around mental health.

Whether you would like to talk to someone about your own mental health, are concerned about a family member, or are supporting someone as a carer, the Hayaan team can provide a safe and understanding space to discuss your needs and explore appropriate support.

Location: Chalkhill Community Centre, 113 Chalkhill Road, Wembley Park, HA9 9FX (Brent Sessions)
When: Every Monday
Time: 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm

The outreach sessions are designed to be accessible and community-focused, helping people feel more comfortable talking about mental health and finding support that reflects their cultural and individual needs.

If you or someone you know could benefit from culturally tailored mental health support, you are welcome to attend the Hayaan Community Outreach Session in Brent.
