Join us on World Suicide Prevention day for a walk of Hope and Remembrance - Pinner Memorial Park Thursday 10th September 1.30pm starting at Daisy's Cafe.

10/09/2026, 1.30pm

Join us for a special Walk of Remembrance and Hope on World Suicide Prevention Day, Thursday 10th September 2026.

Together, we will remember those we have lost to suicide, support those affected by suicide, and stand together to raise awareness that suicide prevention is everyone’s business.

The event will begin at 1.30pm at Daisy’s Cafe, Pinner Memorial Park with a gentle walk and then speeches from
• The Mayor of Harrow
• Anna Ware, CEO of Mind in
Harrow
• A speaker with lived experience
of suicide and recovery

The walk is suitable for beginners and offers an opportunity to reflect, connect with others and
show support for suicide prevention in our community.
Whether you have been personally affected by suicide,
work in mental health, or simply want to show your support, you are welcome to join us.

Why we walk – Every life lost to suicide is a
tragedy. By coming together, we can help break down stigma, encourage conversations about mental health, and remind people that support is available and that no one has to face life’s challenges alone.
As part of Harrow’s Suicide and Self Harm Prevention Strategy, this event demonstrates our commitment to creating a community where people feel able to seek help and where suicide prevention is everyone’s business.
