Led by Anna, our Senior Team have a diverse mix of skills and experience within the charity sector and mental health provision. Our team recognises the importance and value of the service user experience and voice, focusing on continuously improving in delivering co-produced recovery focussed services.

Anna WareCEO

Anna has over 25 years experience of working within the charity sector, working in social housing and specialist mental health services.  Anna is a proactive leader, leading on strategy, growth, safeguarding and managing change, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Sabrina Solomon – Head of Services

Sabrina has worked in the mental health sector for over 15 years specialising in advocacy, user involvement and co-production. Sabrina is passionate about safeguarding and regularly delivers training to ensure best practices.

Sabrina is solutions-focused and is committed to ensuring continuous service development and improvement to ensure that people using services achieve the best possible outcomes.

Corinna Weber-GrayService Manager 

Corinna, with 30+ years of ground-breaking work in mental health projects for adults and young people , embodies innovation and creativity. She prioritizes staff development and client-centred approaches, driven by a passion for fostering independence.

As a change agent, she inspires both our team and the individuals we support to reach their full potential.

Board of  Trustees 

Meet our board of Trustees, led by Jeffrey Defries our board is passionate about enabling positive mental health. Our Trustees bring their skills and experience to benefit our work.

Jeffrey Defries – Chair of Trustees

Jeffrey Defries was the founder and chief executive of icould, the online careers charity. Formerly chief executive of the careers and research charity CRAC, Jeffrey started his career in university administration, before taking roles at the Institute of Cancer Research as deputy secretary and then secretary. He then joined the Science Museum as assistant director, moving on to the London Business School as deputy dean and secretary, and later the NHS University (NHSU) as director of corporate services. CPFA qualified, Jeffrey has held a number of not-for-profit and charity board positions in the UK and in addition to his Mind in Harrow role, for five years he has been chair of the Children’s Literacy Charity. He is a fellow of the RSA.

Colin Powell Trustee and safeguarding lead

Colin has worked in social care for the past 30 years across a number of vulnerable people services inclusive of family intervention, street homelessness, mental health, drugs and alcohol and has been in senior management positions for the past 17 years.

His social care career began at the challenging time of community care and in support of autistic adults moving from large Victorian institutions to community-based houses.

Colin has a wealth of practical experience in leading large and smaller teams through change and has been a lead investigator, trainer and policy writer in safeguarding vulnerable people from harm.

Colin volunteers at his local parish in the role of safeguarding lead.

Komal is a forward-focused and committed senior marketing professional. She has over 20 years of expertise gained within a diverse range of sectors to empower cross-functional teams and influence board-level decision-making. Her dynamic and adaptable approach, with a people-focused methodology, facilitates a culture of honesty and transparency. Integrity-driven and a strong negotiator, with a desire to provide a constructive challenge to the board and to make a real-world impact. Komal is passionate about mental health and Mind in Harrow is a perfect fit and aligned to her goal to help make a difference in people’s lives.
