The Stepping Stones Yoga programme offers a structured and supportive introduction to gentle yoga, designed to improve both physical health and mental wellbeing. Delivered across Term 1 and Term 2, this recurring course provides a consistent and welcoming space for individuals to build confidence, develop new skills, and experience the benefits of mindful movement.

🕒 Time: Mondays, 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

This course is particularly suitable for beginners, as well as those who may feel less confident in group exercise settings or are returning to physical activity after a break. Each session is carefully guided, focusing on gentle stretches, controlled movement, breathing techniques and relaxation practices. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace, making the sessions accessible to a wide range of abilities and fitness levels.

Yoga can play a valuable role in supporting mental health by helping to reduce stress, improve mood, and promote a sense of calm and balance. Through regular attendance, participants may also notice improvements in flexibility, posture, mobility and overall physical comfort. Just as importantly, the group setting creates opportunities for connection and shared experience in a safe and inclusive environment.

The Stepping Stones approach is centred on gradual progress, ensuring that each participant feels supported throughout their journey. There is no pressure to perform or keep up—only encouragement to explore movement in a way that feels right for you.

To secure your place on the course, a £10 deposit is required. This deposit will be fully refunded to participants who attend at least 80% of the sessions, helping to encourage commitment while keeping the course accessible.

If you’re looking for a gentle, structured way to support your wellbeing, build confidence, and introduce more movement into your routine, this course is a great place to start.
